I also took a picture of each side inside the house, near a window but not in direct light. As you can see, the bands are still present. However, as with all Rainbow Obsidian, you need to have these in direct sunlight or under a bright light to really see the beautiful rainbow patterns. Otherwise, it will appear dark (like regular obsidian) or muted under dimmer lighting conditions.
