This is a big, bold, beautiful specimen of Naica Selenite. These pieces are direct from the mine in Chihuahua, Mexico. This particular piece is particularly noteworthy as it has beautiful clear "window" on one face, which allows a "look inside" the crystal and has a big rainbow foil. (I tried and failed to really capture these on film- but it is there and it is beautiful!) This piece has fantastic striations and I love the growth pattern on the back. There is a little bit of matrix left on it that gives it a real contrast and depth. The tip is slightly imperfect, but this is to be expected with Selenite. All in all- this is a fantastic piece!

Selenite is regarded as a stone of spiritual and psychic protection. It clears negativity from the environment as well as from one’s auric field.
